Fast Forward

What I imagine myself doing five years from now is having all of my cars built and probably a couple more bought, as well as continuing to make more money and possibly creating a business plan for the tuner shop that I'd like to own, a branch of off my parents business. I would like to have school finished even though I'm only going part time. This would be ideal to have done because it will help my business plan have structure and so I know what I will be getting into besides watching my parents in their business. I hope to be thinking of a place to rent out or buy or even more ideally have my own place in five years. I would also like to become more involved with my horse and get back into competing. I also hope to have more structure in my life than I do now even though I already have a full time job, own three vehicles, and own a horse as well as go to part time night school and continue with my social life. I would also like to get more involved with training my dog to be ...

One Percent

A government topic that I am opposed to is that non profit organizations should be watched more to see if they are taking advantage of the benefits they gain by being a non profit. For example, the amount of land that a non profit is able to take up since they don't have to pay taxes on it or the fact that they don't file their employees under them just so they don't have to pay taxes. A lot of non profits are good with not taking up a whole township of land and also pay taxes on their employees. The city of Pittsburgh has claimed that they can not have not seen them file for any employees, and only have 'employees' fill out W2 forms under UPMC subsidiaries. The attorney for UPMC claims that each UPMC subsidiary has its corporate identity and tax identification number. Either way, i would have to do more research on the topic to fully represent ever side of the story.
