69 Chevy with a 396

I could name endless things of something important to me that happened to me in a car. I can't name any specific moment that it would be, but it would be the moment that realized how important that they are in my life. Maybe even more specifically the moment that I first felt speed in a car. In one of these moments I felt that I was one with the vehicle. It wasn't a moment that I was necessarily driving, maybe I was. One day I just realized that this is something that changed my life, that I created another passion.
I had always loved cars/trucks but there was a time when I just literally felt a need for speed. I don't mean going 200 mph, but how fast can you get to 90 mph. I feel a rush of adrenaline. I can hear my heart beating in my ears and my hands become sweaty and shaky, I can never get enough. I can't get enough of the speed and the passion and the people you meet. I can never get enough joy out of driving a car or being in the car while someone is driving it. There is no moment that feels the same as when you literally can't lift your head off the headrest of the seat. This subject has more meaning to me than most people will never understand. "why do you care about your car so much?" "why did you do that to your truck?" "why would you put that kind of money into something that is just an object?"
Well to put it this way, why do people put money into anything? Either because they have to or they want to. Your vehicle doesn't have to look the best, but it does have to get you safely from A to B. If you don't respect that, you will regret it.
So over all, there's probably thousands of moments that I could tell you about but i'm sure this is one of the ones you'd actually care to hear about.
